Babycakes LA Grand Opening

The day was finally here. Babycakes opened up their new location in downtown LA and we went to go try some of their goods. J had already been to the location in NY when visiting family and recognized a few people behind the counter. There was a line and plenty of people taking pictures. I'm guessing food bloggers(obviously).

J will have a short review of the stuff she bought later on today.

We opened Breakaway Bakery about three months ago. The bakery is located at 5264 W. Pico, Los Angeles, CA 90019, between Hauser and Cochran. Breakway
Bakery products are certifed organic, gluten-free and kosher pareve, and
made with whole grain brown rice flour or whole grain gluten-free oats. You
can taste our baked out items and/or take home our frozen batter and dough
to bake fresh from your oven. We make everything on-site in our dedicated
kitchen which is also free of dairy/casein, peanuts, soy*, treenuts* and
gums (*while we don't bring any soy or treenuts into our kitchen, the flour
we use is processed in a facility that also processes soy and treenuts and
we do use coconut oil in some of our baked goods). We focus on making truly
healthy baked goods that taste delicious.
