I picked out this recipe for egg flan with purple potatoes from La Tartine Gourmande. I love this blog. A food stylist and writer makes delicious food and takes beautiful pictures that she displays here. It isn't all gluten free but there is a category of gluten free recipes. Eye candy for sure! Makes you feel good about being gluten free! Here are some of our ingredients:


It was so easy to make, just like a fritatta.
For dessert I made maple sweetened lemon pudding from the April/May Living Without magazine. I loved that issue for all of it's sugar alternative recipes.
I also made a meringue for the top where I just substituted agave nectar for the sugar.
We put a few candied lemon peel slices that we made ( these had sugar) on top. It was really good.

Ooh, I love the look of that lemon meringue! Thanks for reminding me- I'll look in my Living without for the recipe and try it one of these weekends. :)
